Hi A week has passed since I won and paid for the gloves but they have not arrived. As you have not marked them as dispatched or added feedback could I enquire as to the situation? Thanks
Hi i am so sorry i did message everyone to say . due to SNOW and living in a country lane there would be a delay in posting.. its still bad and started again today.. but i will try to get out to post them for you tomorrow... sorry again for delay... kind regards Barbara
Thank you very much for a quick response. The message to 'everyone' obviously didn't include me otherwise I would not have bothered you. Cheers
The weather had been bad between the date of the sale (6 Jan) and the date of this first email exchange on 13 Jan. So I accepted the email suggesting the gloves would be sent the next day on face value. On the 15th a rapid thaw took place all over the country.
Any decent seller would have taken the trouble to make sure the items were posted quick after the delay caused by the weather. If the gloves had been sent on the 14th as promised they should have arrived by 19th, 13 days after the end of the sale. The seller had still not marked the gloves as dispatched in MyEbay so the next stage was to open a case. On doing this both the seller and the buyer get a copy of the case - set out below. We're sorry there's a problem with your purchase. We've received your information and we'll contact the seller about your issue and get back to you by 29 Jan, 2010. If you are able to work things out with the seller, please close this case in the Resolution Centre.

Additional information:
"I contacted seller after 1 week asking "As you have not marked them as dispatched or added feedback could I enquire as to the situation?" I received an immediate reply "Hi i am so sorry i did message everyone to say . due to SNOW and living in a country lane there would be a delay in posting.. its still bad and started again today.. but I will try to get out to post them for you tomorrow" The delay message was not received. The full text is in MyMessages. The gloves have not arrived 13 days after purchase and have not been marked as dispatched on MyEbay. It is hard to believe the seller has been housebound for 13 days. I would like the gloves sent or the money refunded."
You want: "Dispatch item"
your item has been posted.you can track it at www.postoffice.co.uk prefix number is 1-4270667 and barcode is BR975395332GB.oh yeah and they need to be signed for
The seller responded to your case by providing the dispatch information for your item. You can view the dispatch information in the Resolution Centre.
Seller's note:
"just rude and inpateint.have also onlt been contacted once by buyer."
You can respond to the seller in the Resolution Centre or contact eBay Customer Support to handle the case for you.
This is an unreasonable response made to the resolution center. The gloves were not dispatched until after this case had been raised, so goodness knows how long the seller intended to wait before posting. It is unfair to accuse me of being impatient, just how many times does she think I should have contacted her and she never let me know the situation. Judge for yourself if any of the above correspondence is rude.
you must have recived item by now.so can you respond to the case that you opened...
The tone of this email really makes you want to like this 'Snotty Cow'. Well the postman didn't call for another hour.
Package Delivered
This was sent recorded delivery and nobody was there to sign for it. Card left requiring collection from sorting office.
Package Collected
At last, I have my hands in the gloves, they are excellent. What a shame it has taken two weeks longer than was necessary and wasted money (£1.22) on having to send it recorded, leaving her only £2.27 less eBay fees.
Item delivery attempted 21st Jan, collected today 22nd. Well packed and perfectly matched description. What a pity the seller has made this such a negative experience. Having delayed the dispatch supposedly due to the weather, seller made no attempt to make up for lost time and only dispatched after this case was raised. Detailed seller rating shows dispatch time is a problem area that needs addressing. The general 'tone' of the sellers correspondence is unhelpful and gives the impression of a nasty personality. Goes straight into the attack saying I'm rude and impatient - what for waiting 13 days? I'm sure if I hadn't paid for the item after that period she would have something to say too. Then says 'only contacted once by buyer' - yes, once more than should have been necessary, so the next time was raising this case.
