This screen allows you to import previously exported Method and Touch data from 'Change Ringing Toolkit' that you have stored locally in a text file on your device, or sent to you by email. For security reasons, the Browser does not allow the files on your computer to be accessed without your personal intervention. This may seem a nuisance but it ensures the safety of your device.
Please follow the three stages of instructions on this page, then use the 'Hamburger Menu' to go to the tool of your choice.
1. Paste Copied Data
Open the document containing the touch data, then copy and paste the full contents of the Touch Data, starting with TOOLKIT-EXPORT2# and ending QQQQ: into this box.
2. Verify Data
Please click the verify button to make sure all the required information is present. If the data passes verification the Method Name and Touch Names will be shown. Otherwise the problem will be reported to you for corrective action.
3. Use This Import
If you are happy that this is the desired import, press the accept button. This will complete the import and replace the current method and touches.
Use the hamburger menu to continue to use the various TOOLKIT screens with the touches just imported.
