RINGBELL.CO.UK Nostalgia Section Copyright Licence

Narrative

As author, I am invoking a Creative Commons licence for my work including the photographs are attributed to me too.

Can I use parts of your website myself?

Yes, of course you can. The whole purpose of a Creative Commons licence is to allow the work to be shared. That must be for Non Commercial (NC) purposes and it must clearly credit the source - who its by (BY) in this case RINGBELL.CO.UK and allow anyone else to use anything you have added or altered to be Shared Alike (SA)
I have been contacted by many people asking permission to print sections for display. Although this is not necessary if they comply with the terms of the Creative Commons licence, I would appreciate an email, as well as being courteous, its nice to know that my hard graft is benefiting someone. I can always be contacted via the website menu.
You may use sections of RINGBELL.CO.UK on your own website providing you comply with the licence terms. However may I suggest that you don't, but instead link to this website from your page as often new information is added to a topic which you won't benefit from if a copy has been made. Many years ago, thanks to one contributor the 'Air Raid Siren' page in the Cold War section went from one siren photo to over 50 almost overnight, a copier would have missed this.
